Six Weeks Old

We've introduced the crate as their new sleeping space!  For the first night four of the pups began their night in the crate, then as the night went on only Katie and Shadow ended up staying.  We leave the crate door open so they can go in and out as they please

As of today, they have had their 1st round of shots by our local vet, and a 3rd round of wormer to begin their 6th week.   They will get their second shot when they come home and visit their new vet for the first time.

We've noticed mama Jetta getting on to her pups for biting during a feeding.  This is a good thing and  a big reason why they need to stay till at least their eighth week to be socialized through play with their litter mates and through the guidance of their mama.

I know this picture is kinda gross of Katie doing her 'business', but I'm just so proud of them for helping to keep their space tidy!

I don't have really great shots of each pup this time, but here's a few from Ladybird and Mickey's playtime yesterday.

The pups still available are...
Smokey (Black male wearing a Black collar)
Katie  (Black female wearing a Yellow collar)
Ruby (Black female wearing a Red collar)

View them more up close on last weeks post.
