It's so amazing to me how much these pups grow and change with every passing week. This week they began pulling their colored velcro collars off of each other which made taking pictures kind pointless for you all to pick out your adoptive pup (or pup you're considering adopting). Here they are wearing their new collars in the pictures below.
SMOKEY now weighs 15 lbs and is still the biggest of the litter. He would make a great companion as his chill temperament and willingness to be influenced as well as to easily settle. He is STILL AVAILABLE for adoption.
RUBY is up to 10 lbs. And is an all around good pup. She's not overly venturous and not too cautious either. She will make a great family pet or hunter. She is STILL AVAILABLE for adoption.
IVY (formally farm named Katie) is now 12 lbs. She has just been reserved. Still just as playful and curious as she always has been. Though looking so much more bigger than her last all photo shoot.
MOLLY is now 14 lbs and continues to be the escape artist of the litter. We don't yet know what her adoptive name will be, but we know that my husband's brother will likely get to see her as she grows. Her collar use to be Orange, but the collars I received didn't have that option. So now she'll be wearing the pink collar.
SHADOW is now 14 lbs and will soon have a new adopted name when he goes home with his grandma Katie. He has become more lively in these last weeks following Molly in their escaping efforts, but still is able to settle down.
LADYBIRD is now 12 lbs and hasn't changed much in temperament. She's just as curious yet settles well when being held. Her along with two other pups are the most chill of the litter.
MICKEY is now 10 lbs. He follows Molly in the mischievous most curious temperament. He loves to stay active.
KOTA (formally farm named Rosebud) use to wear a purple velcro collar, but now she sports a bright green collar. Most of the time when I enter their kennel she is just waiting patiently in the back and not joining the others in their persistent jumping at the door.
During my regular kennel clean out earlier this week I placed a big container of water for them to explore. I wish I would have gotten the shots of them both excitingly and hesitantly venturing one paw at a time in the water and then quickly lifting it back out again, holding it up for a bit before lowering it again. These pictures were after they'd had their fill of water play and were giving me the look that says they are ready to get back to their kennel.
This week they also received more of an expansion to their kennel because they began to climb over the wire panels. That's Molly getting ready to jump the gate and Shadow is close behind! These two will keep you on your toes!
