Two weeks Old

Never before have all the pups been reserved by their 2nd week!  

As of now we're calling them by their farm names, but be thinking about what name you'd like to give your pup and we will begin calling him/her by their forever name after each one is chosen.  

At two weeks they still mainly just eat, sleep, and poop, but have now also opened their eyes!  We had to change to the bigger collars since they have more than doubled in size, now ranging from 2lbs 6oz to 3lbs 2oz.  

Today we trimmed their claws a 2nd time, to keep from scratching mama as they feed, and gave them their first dose of dewormer med.  

Even though they are still so young and not yet playing with one another, we took note of how long it would take for them to relax on their back while having their tummy rubbed.  

Male - MAUI

Red paw collar (previous collar color - Blue)

Maui is the only pup from this litter with a white marking on his chest (just like his papa).  

When placed on their back, most pups have stiff legs and neck and eventually relax into having their tummy rubbed.  Maui was about average.

Male - ZAZU
No collar (previous collar color - silver)

Zazu took about the same amount of time to relax on his back as Maui.  However when I put him on the burlap to get a clean picture, he settled right down and didn't move!  So, I don't have a variety of poses. Ha!

Female - BO PEEP

Pink paw  collar (previous collar color - light pink)

Bo Peep took a bit longer to settle on her back and sweetly gave me a few little whimpers.  She also wanted to climb out of the burlap area till I cradled her face... then she settled.  See her nearly standing in the 3rd picture!?  She's ready to move!

Female - ELSA

Pink w stripe collar (previous collar color - dark pink)

Elsa is the biggest pup by 5oz!  She has a slightly golden shade coat.  When on her back she relaxed right down, but then got a bit more curious on the burlap.  

Male - BUZZ
Blue  collar (previous collar color  - light blue)

Buzz is one of the two yellow pups with a lighter coat.  Today he seemed to have the brightest eyes!  He took a bit longer to relax on his back.

Female JASMINE
Yellow  collar (previous collar color - Orange)

Jasmine was chill and relaxed.  She stiffened up when placed on her back but relaxed pretty quickly.

Male - PLUTO 

Green  collar (previous collar color - Brown)

Pluto is the other of the more white of the yellow pups and he was the most aware of the smell of my lap and the burlap.  He stayed pretty calm and even bounced one of his rear legs as I found 'the spot' to rub on his tummy.

Male - SIMBA

Red collar (previous collar color - green)

Simba has more of a golden shade to his coat and was also pretty aware of the scent these new surfaces.  Most pups opened their eyes yesterday.  He seemed to have just one eye open.  I guess taking it all in very slowly.  Ha!

Female RAPUNZEL 

No collar (previous collar color - light green)

Rapunzel relaxed on her back pretty quick and as I rubbed her tummy her eyes seemed to be so bright and open. She didn't move much on the burlap but stayed curled up nosing the burlap around her front paws.
