Four Weeks Old

Sleeping, playing, feeding, pooing, and on and on.  They have had their second dose of wormer and are taking full advantage of the amount of space they have.  We've added a couple toys which some have taken to more than others, as well as contained their place to 'go'.  About 3-5 pups will make it to the box.  They won't be 100% potty trained when they come home, but they should have more of a concept of this.

They are becoming even more curious as to what is outside this pool by frequently peeking over the side when we are in the room.  We will need to move them to their next space soon because they are also starting to climb out of the pool.  Especially when mama is in the room.  

Their teeth have come in which means Mama doesn't like to nurse them as often.   Last week we started them on one meal solid food a day and will start two meals a day this week.   

This was their first time outside the house.  

Three Weeks Old

Pups have had their first wormer treatment and have been seen by a vet.  We recently gave them a bigger living area as they were beginning to explore their area and accidentally escaping the smaller pool.  

They are noticing each other more and more and beginning to get playful as they still wobble on all fours 

Last week also began the beginning of potty training.  We will keep a close eye on their bed area and keep it as clean as possible.  

As of now, they still spend most of their time sleeping, but stay tuned for individual introductions soon!

I love holding them right after they've had a meal with Mama.  

Pups are Two weeks old

These pups have more than doubled their weight, had their first nail clipping and have begun to open their eyes.  They are beginning to explore standing on all fours, but it only lasts a couple seconds before they clumsily fall down often rolling over as they fall.  So so cute.

Jetta's First Litter!

Jetta's first litter has arrived!  Two black males, one yellow male, four black females, and one yellow female.    All pups are doing great doing what they do best; eating, sleeping, and pooping.   Pups have all gained at least 8 oz since birth.

These pups will be ready to come home the first weekend in October.
