Almost 7 weeks

We introduced the lead this week!  Most of them wanted to twist round and chew on it, but we quickly tried to redirect their attention.  They did great.
All pups have had their shots, by our local vet, and have been given their third deworming med.  They are nearly ready for home on Memorial Day weekend!

For more on their temperaments go to the last two weeks posts...  Week Week 5

Almost 6 Weeks Old!

On this sunny day we introduced them to some water play while my daughter and I cleaned out the kennel.   I love watching them curiously try things for the first time.

Last week and this week we began writing down which pups were more dominate and which were less dominate.  More or less is not good or bad, but knowing the temperament will help you find the right pup for your family.  If you are able to be consistent in training, a dominate pup won't give you any problem.

Sleepy
10 1/2 lbs
Less dominate.

Batman
10 lbs
One of the two more dominate pups though you would know it from getting these pictures!  He sat so still for us!

Phoebe has been reserved and is now called Athena!!
10 lbs
She's less dominate, but is very curious with her surroundings.  This makes it harder to get a good shot of her!

Shadow
10 lbs
A little dominate, but yields easily.

Rocky is now reserved and will now be called Charlie!!
8 1/2 lbs
Less dominate and he didn't seem to want to raise up off this soft blanket, which made it easy to get some good shots of him!

Oliver
Now 8 1/2 lbs.
Least dominate.

 Midnight
10 1/2 lbs
He is the 3rd most dominate pup, yet still yields really well.

Colt
9 lbs
One of the two more dominate pups
